Thanks! The last time I posted a shot of him it started out on "other cool shots" but the mods moved it to "People", so I'm guessing that dogs are people. But I'm happy to obey the rules if I know them.
OK, John, I'll let him stay this time. You're lucky that I just got a six-week-old kitten in the house.
Where do dogs belong?
Oh, man, I don't know. I would say Other Cool Shots, I guess. They don't quite fit as people or wildlife, do they?
What's that saying? "A dog is a man's best friend." I guess that means they belong in the People section, unless it's a "cool shot". I suggest a Pet section so shots of any kind of pet can be included.

He looks like he had a great afternoon but right now is really tired.

He's a good looking chocolate. The black is a good looking dog too.

That's where I posted the last shot of him and I think Skippy moved it here. Lynn always used to like dog shots in the people forum. But whatever. I think he'll be a major subject for me this summer, so tell me where and I'll post there.
The black dog in the beach shot was just a casual beach acquaintance. I hope we run into him again. Hugo had a blast with him.
Hugo is an enormous 10 month old puppy. He is still a world of trouble, but I can see that he is going to be a great dog, too. Different, but great. Right now he is a shoe eating monster.
That would be cool; I love dogs that have that. But no, it's just the effect of lying on one and having the other up in the air.
Looks like fun, Hey my dog made a face like that today but he wasn't
swimming

In general, I think it is confusing to put pet shots in the People forum. As a viewer, I would not think to look there for pictures of dogs or cats (or snakes or spiders). On the other hand, some pictures of pets display unmistakable human qualities and are closer to portraits than anything else. A soulful looking head shot of a dog could go in People, while a dog chasing a ball probably belongs in OCS.
I don't really have strong feelings about this, however. I think it's pretty unimportant in the grand scheme of things where a particular pic gets posted and even less important if it gets moved. FWIW, I expect to be taking lots of pics of my new kitten in the coming weeks, but since we don't have a pets forum (yet), I will post them in OCS.
