I was at Viera Wetlands at 6:30 this morning. In my first drive around the ponds I saw six deer. Finding that many deer is really unusual, and I consider myself lucky if I get a few shots of one deer on a trip there.

There must have been easily 10GB of photos taken today of two new stilt chicks. I think one was hatched yesterday and the other this morning. The mom was removing the empty egg and only one of the chicks was able to stand.
In the time that I was there there must have been at least ten people photographing these.

Canon 30D, 100-400mm lens, and a flash was used for the stilts.
