My kids are a huge help when it comes to scouting new locations at which to shoot. I took them with me today to scout a spot for a real shoot next weekend. Here are a few of the test shots featuring my assistant scouts, Timothy and Leah.

cute kids. Seems like you are making life a little hard on yourself shooting in the direct sonlight. I hate shooting in direct sonlight, although, you have done pretty well with these.

Very cute kids and it looks like you've found a nice couple of spots for some portraits.

For those in direct sun, add a little fill flash so you can dial down the aperture - this will actually enable you to lessen the effects of that very hard direct sunlight.
