Adam's Jones Beach 2008 Fireworks Thread (Lots of Photos)

Got myself VIP parking at the Nikon lot... I walked around a LOT. First i walked around, where I wasn't supposed to be and was hanging with I think workers at the theater. Then wanted around actually in the theater itself looking for a spot. One guy suggested I shoot from the top of the theater, which would have been GREAT, but I got a big issue with heights, and its HIGH up there. So then i walked along the water by the Nikon theater, which would have been perfect, but I had no idea WHERE the fireworks would be. They were in front of the water tower at Jones Beach and where I was, was to the east more... so i ended up just walking back to the parking lot to take some shots. They came out okay, there was a light pole in my way but still not bad:

Very nice work, Adam! I would like to get down to Jones Beach one of these days for the show.

I was over at the Town of Brookhaven show near Bald Hill - we actually watched from the Town Hall building, under cover, so we avoided the rain. I've posted some shots in a thread here
