From the Independence Day Celebration at Gasworks Park in Seattle (in some of the photos you can see the Space Needle in the lower right).
I thought a 24-105 would be wide enough, but I ended up switching to a 16-35 half way through the show once I saw the trajectory. It then took another few minutes before I dialed in the correct exposure (2 seconds is about the max time before everything gets over-exposed, for some reason I was thinking 5 seconds would be OK, but these fireworks were way too close and bright for that to work).
Anyway, I'll have a better success ratio next time, for now, here's the ones that came out:
