Orlando Hot Import Nights

These were shot last night at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
If you are into the car show scene, some of these might be worth a look.

Equipment:

Canon EOS 20D
580EX Flash.
10-22mm

Settings.

ISO 1600
Aperture 3.5 - 5
Partial Metering
Bounce Flash was used for the trunk shots.

    Nice shots,

    I went to a local Hot Import Dayz in my area but really needed something ultra wide. The 10-22 must have helped out alot!

    Only lens I used for the entire shoot. Had the Tamron 28-75 and never touched it. Great lens. Some of those trunks were pretty dark - never had a missed focus in something like 600 shots.

    Thanks. Balancing ambient light with flash.....shot ISO 1600 at f3.5 and around 1/50th and bracketed until it looked right. Because the lens is so wide and the 1:1 focal rule, even at 1/50th , most of the images were very sharp. I was tempted to go even lower on the shutter, but played it safe.
