Fireworks Attempt

This is my third attempt. I see everyone has a dark background, but when i get that my fireworks are dim. This year i lengthened my shutter speed.2639311636_e5c5663cbb.jpg?v=0

    I blew it this year, too. Next time I follow this advice:

    I'm with you man. Everywhere I went there was either a million people so I couldn't setup a a tripod or there was a street light directly across the street that would wash out the pics. I did my best to handhold the camera and failed incredibly bad. :cry

    On a note related to the pic, I actually think that one looks decent with a lighter background. Good job!

    Nice... I prefer seeing the fireworks over a nice backdrop, like a water front... i was at Jones beach, so it was either

    a) fireworks alone
    b) fireworks with lots of cars/light poles/bushes below

    So i opted just for the fireworks...
