This is my third attempt. I see everyone has a dark background, but when i get that my fireworks are dim. This year i lengthened my shutter speed.

I'm with you man. Everywhere I went there was either a million people so I couldn't setup a a tripod or there was a street light directly across the street that would wash out the pics. I did my best to handhold the camera and failed incredibly bad. :cry
On a note related to the pic, I actually think that one looks decent with a lighter background. Good job!
