Look how gorgeous this Canon 5D is. :lust
I cropped the second picture from another with the same frame as the first one and I applied a bit of Smart Sharp.
May be the picture is a little orange/red ... Is it ?:dunno
Of course ST-E2 and 2 flashes.
What do you think, please ?

Is it a bit orange? Maybe just a tad, but then again, I like how it looks. I'd go for it even if the colors weren't 100% precise.
Great one.

I think it may read a little yellow, but having said that I like the skin tones I see on my Apple LCD very much.
When I read pixels on what looks to me to be whites - is that a bandage on his left elbow?, porcelain vases in the background, or the base of the fan in the background, - all read positive in the a and b channel in LAB, which means that the colors tend toward the magenta and the yellow, which together is orange. But I suspect if this is completely neutralized, we won't like the image color balance nearly as well.

I bought it because I think it is a classic existing in the market for so long that it doesn't have any problems like the MK III for example.
If you can, get one because the difference to the 20D is big.
It is a pleasure to shoot with it.
I shot some pictures with the 20D and - side by side - I was amazed how good the photos from the 5D are or/and how poor the photos from the 20D are .
I think in Photokina they are going to launch a MKIII N to clean the image of the first one.
I am already thinking to buy it at the end of it's commercial career in a couple of years.
The portrait has the light from our right too strong.
His grand son was holding the flash for me.
I just arrived in the house and had no time to set up the famous softbox, but I should.
The bandage in the elbow... yes. he felt and broke his arm:cry
He is recovering now but we can see that his hand is larger than usual.
