For sale is my Sigma 50-500mm EX DG in Canon Mount, AKA Bigma. It's the current DG version about 3 years old. This is a very versatile 10x zoom that is popular among bird, animal, airplane, and sports (given enough light) photographers.

Comes with all the accessories that you get when you buy it new (original box, unused bag, two sets of bag straps, all warranty and instruction papers, hood, front and rear lens caps, tripod collar, even the original plastic wrappings). Additionally, I will include a Multicoated S&W UV filter and a second center pinch lens cap to make removing the lenscap with a hood on an easy affair.

Everything works perfectly, the front and rear elements are without any scratches and the optics are top notch. I'm selling this lens because I just bought a Canon 400mm f5.6L lens as I'm moving to all prime lenses.

Here are my bigma galleries all taken with this lens and see what this lens is capable of.

As for flaws, there are three light scuffs on the lens barrel that extends out. There is dust behind the front element. This is common to all long zooms that extend out (e.g. Canon's 100-400 is AKA the dust pumper and Canon's 17-55). The dust behind the front element does not affect the image quality/cannot be seen in the images as it's closer than the minimum focus distance.

Here are the pictures of the lens.

I'm asking $725 for a local pick up. B&H lists a new version for $999.

I'll entertain shipping if I can't sell it locally.
Please PM me if interested.
