I have a lot to learn with respect to "seeing" light, so I took a drive last evening and looked for not-so-obvious photos. I came around a bend in the dirt road and there was a really nice scene lit up for me!
My only regrets are that I cut off the house on the right and to a lesser extent, cut off the top of the pine tree in the background. I used a blue-to-yellow graduated filter in post-processing to bring some colour to the sky and to make the yellows stand out. I feel the barn being in the center works because of the hay bails that are positioned across the frame.

Love the shot, and I love the crop. I admit the pine tree being cut off doesn't bother me.
