Just got my new Sigma 150-500OS and took it to McCoy stadium in Pawtucket, RI for a bit of a shake out. I find the lens great. Certainly slow but the OS works great and the lens is very sharp. All shots are hand held from the bleachers and at the price this lens is a great bargain, great build and nice IQ. If you have any questions about this lens drop me a PM and I'll try and answer them. I also have a Sigma 80-400OS that is also a great lens.:thumb

Thanks for looking folks. It has been fun using this lens. I am quite surprised at the IQ of it and the ease of hand holding it. I'll post some more when I can. Anyone with questions on this lens just PM me and I'll respond.

I also own an 80-400 OS and I like it also. Ironcally, the 150-500 OS is sharper. Both have great build quality

Actually the high ISO was intentional on some of the shots as I was evaluating the shutter speed I could get with the lens under the lighting conditions. I have a field pass for tomorrow night when "Big Papi" will be doing a rehab stint with the Pawsox. I am hoping to get a few good pix but it's a night game so I may have to really push the ISO with that lens.
