dgrin challenge 37 is here. it will run from monday, april 18th 2005 at 12:00:01 a.m. nyc time, through monday, may 2nd at noon nyc time. the guest judge for the challenge will be the winner of challenge 36, as determined by the voters.

remember, in order for everyone to benefit, you should be commenting and critiquing for others as much as you expect to get for yourself. you've got to give to get!

challenge 37 is about patterns and repetitions. they are everywhere - in the market, in your house. the woods, streams, fields, mountains. at the zoo, at the park, in the grocery store, in your kitchen, workshop or garage. in the garden, too. lots of wide open potential here, so enjoy!

"cloudspheres" shot in nyc's central park boat pond, this is a section of installation art from last summer. shot in infrared with a sony f828.

7282257-L.jpg

this thread, is the one into which you post your challenge entry, and remember, one entry per person, and the photo must be fresh, taken during the challenge period. you must post the date the photograph was taken or it will be deemed ineligible.

all of the rules of the dgrin photo challenges apply, please read them!.

***challenge 37 will close to entries on monday, may 2nd, 2005 at 12 noon nyc time***

enjoy (challenge) photography,

    Diamonds...
This was taken last night on April 30th, in NYC at Chelsea Piers. They are actually Cubic Zirconias. Not the best shot, wish I had my tri-pod handy and thought it out more, but I really wanted to start contributing to the challenges. I spotted these and remembered the challenge.

This is my first post to a challenge here, so :beatwax yell at me if I did it wrong. There was some photoshop done, OK?
