Met up with two other local photogs to go add light to some ruins and hope we could get some lighting in the background. No lighting but we had some fun with light.

1. The sun fading fast

2. Similar shot with some added light sources and longer exposure

I plan to go back and perfect a couple of these- hopefully with some lighting next time.

Cool idea! I'm going to have to go any try it on something in the near future. What type of light sources were you using? Just high-powered lamps?

we took out some propane camping lanterns and one of the guys had some enormous 1,000 candle power flashlight. we placed the lanterns against the walls and used the flashlight to paint the walls with light.

Methinks I will try something like this sooner than later. I have a couple 1-million candle-powered lamps in the garage. I'll also bring the kids out with some large flashlights....

    Thanks for the inspiration!clap.gif
