Hello here is Part 1 of my 3 day trip. I went to Lalazar and Saif al Maluk lake two of most beautiful places of Pakistan. But 1st one has to reach "Kaghan" or Naran, Naran is 1 and half hour drive from Kaghan. We stayed at kaghan valley.
To reach kaghan valley you have to boared air conditioned coach that will charge you 120 Rs or 2$ to reach "Mansehra" it is about 3hrs ride.
Once you step your feet out of bus you will be surrounded by little kids selling and begging :rolleyes
From Mansehra got a ticket of 170 Rs or 3$ and it was 4.5 hrs bumpy ride to Kaghan.
They will stop at "Paras" from where you can have a cup of tea. We had tea from this hotel
You will see experts of loading ! these guys would load goats like this on jeeps
Pet birds
Open kitchen of hotel and a cook
And we reached Kaghan Valley as usual luck was not on my side and it was cloudy and no hint of blue sky !. Instead i was windy :rolleyes
Went to River this is Kunhar River very cold water of glaciers.
I loved the Textures on Rocks
A hotel
view of bazar from hotel from we had breakfast
Early morning scene with buddy's 70-200L f4 IS what a lens !
Look at these houses people don't fear from rocks still knowing many die due to landsliding of these huge rocks! (70-200L)
Clouds low on mountain
And in Morning hired a jeep to go to the lake and lalzar most dangerous jeep tracks in Pakistan real journy starts now !
Here is the lake where we went it is just beauty and lots of things to shoot ! more of the lake in Part 2

And lisa we were 3 and spent 2300 Rs or 33$ each for 3 days exotic traveling and eating. Northern areas are cheap because less tourist visit Pakistan as compared to past.

Your portraits are incredible. I find portrait photography difficult but you seem to have it down pat. Really lovely.

Having experienced Pakistan overland by motorcycle from Karachi to Peshawar, I can say that you accurately captured the people and countryside. But you missed images of the chaotic traffic, specifically suicidal busdrivers in action...hey hey. And yes, that's the front of a bus!
Very true !! i think i will be doing whole series about the traffic soon !
Will love to see Pakistan through your eyes !
This truck art is quite famous one of the guy from America or i think Europe made his whole car like that !
Here is one i shot at hill station
Man they really drive crazy !!
