After we finished our visit to the San Diego Zoo, we went to Balboa park to take some photographs at the cactus and joshua tree park. I went here back in December when I visited San Diego to check out University of California San Diego and other areas around Miramesa Blvd. We only stayed here for about twenty minutes to shoot photographs of each other and letting Vincent climb up the boulder that was in the middle of the area.
Start them off when they are young!! :clap hmmm...I might have to buy the boy a digicam for his birthday.
Eric, Ann, and Vincent went back to the car and I wanted to take some more photos, as I liked playing with my 12-24!
I finally finished shooting! hehehe they were waiting oh so patiently for me! :rofl
We headed to San Diego's pier after buying these HUGE burritos!! I didn't know burritos could come so big! They were like 5 inches in diameter!! :eat
But... I didn't take any pictures of them. :cry We ate them too fast to actually be able to take any sort of photo! And i didn't gain a pound cause right afterwards, I bolted to take some shots of the huge municipal building and the boats that lined the pier!
They finally yanked me from the median to go to our next hotel stop, the La Quinta hotel. Where we would stay for the night before driving to Mojave and then to Las Vegas. They yanked me!! cry
By the time we got to our new hotel, which was absolutely gorgeous, it was night fall! And it was our cheapest hotel of all of them we stayed at! Probably my fault cause I wanted to stay a tad longer to shoot photos!
This hotel room was very contemporary and had really interesting designs! Maybe I am not very familiar with hotels or the new fad of hotel rooms, but this was very fun to be in!
Checking out the Dgrin on vacation!!
hey that's my reflectors... that I didn't use...:rofl
Morning came by and we all had to head to the Mojave Desert. Our intermidatiate stop to Las Vegas.
We finally got to the Mojave and what did we find? Running water; Jacuzzi, hot showers, flushing toilets, a SAUNA! A SAUNA IN THE DESERT?!:whew
Just behind those doors is the sauna!
There is the sauna!!
and.. there is the Jacuzzi! It was really strange to use a jacuzzi in the middle of the desert.
And we stayed here for a night in the desert! We stayed in these nifty cabin tents! It was fun...but hot.
One of those cabins that was in the process of being built.
Our cabin!
They thought that it was fun to do the hitch hike sign on the train tracks where a train has just passed.
He .. seems to enjoy using my gear as toys. hehe!
We started a fire to heat up some food and to show Vincent how to make a fire. Afterwards I spent a good thirty minutes dumping sand on top of the flame to put out any ember that was still lit.
I woke up super early for this and did some editing...
I am all green! Even my watermark is green!
We went to get some breakfast in this shop near the registration desk. We passed by this chair and I thought it would be neat to do the sepia degeurrotype filter on it.
We also came across this wreck. There were signs saying DO NOT ENTER! But... we entered! :rofl
thanks for looking! Las Vegas is next!

Sounds like the 3 of you had a great time. Pictures were nice, maybe we need to get out there and explore someday. Yeah, the jacuzzi in the middle of the dessert looks out of place. They should have made it look like a little oasis.
