Fire Department Water-Ball
Our fire department had some festivities going during the fourth of July, so after walking in the parade and eating some free food at the barbecue, I shot a few pictures of the waterball games. The rules are pretty simple, I think you'll all get the idea from the pictures. Enjoy!
3... 2... 1... GO!
One team starts to gain an advantage and steps forward.
A wide view, with spectators looking on. Wish I had a wider lens. :wink
A good angle from the ladder truck. I could shoot from here for the first brief instants of a match, then had to book it to get out of the way. :rofl
Between matches we'd reset the ball, while the OTHER kids had their fun.
A new match begins:
Uh oh... Things are looking grim for this team.
Chief helps the kids give it a shot.
A little one-on-one toward the end.
And lastly a self portraight, using the engineer (the guy at the truck's pump panel).
