I thought it would mean we'll get flash edit tool as a part of PS CS3..
Am I way out of the loop?

My guess it it will be bundled as part of the greater Creative Suite, and not with the stand-alone CS3 (Photoshop) version.

All I can say is... hang onto your wallet.

In general, I do not feel like this is good news. But we have no other choice than to wait and see.

This will serve to just create an even bigger monopoly and make the software under both names even more expensive as if it wasn't bad enough already. So much for the goverment ban on monopoly's. This is a horrid thing that nothing good for consumers can come of.

Yeah, from that stand point - I guess..
However, if they manage to unify UI and integrate the whole thing together seamlessly - I'd be ok with that.. The reason I don't do flash now is that I don't have a bandwidth to learn yet another complicated product. Maybe with CS3 it won't be the case..

I can't wait for Acrobat to also be trying to run Flash animations...like it doesn't take long enough to load already.

If you're on Acrobat ver.7, it does not take long time at all...thumb.gif
