[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Time to switch up some gear as my shooting priorities have shifted.

Canon 600mm non IS.SOLD!!!! Purchased in Dec 07 from Dan L (voodoo). Glass is in mint condition. Body has very little wear considering the lens' age (pics to follow). Sharp and fast focusing. Works great with 1.4x on my 40D. Comes with custom Jan-al case and after market cap as well as camo lens coat and arca swiss plate. $3900 shipped. I'll split pp fees.

Have had many great transactions both here and on FM and CPOTN as well.

I reserve the right to repost lowball offers for humor's sakebiggrin.gif I take really good care of my gear and am not desperate to sell...

One last thing: I know Doc runs a really tight ship and I only mention this as I've seen it become a problem now and again...Please, Please, PLEASE don't hijack my FS thread with price policing, low balling, and OT stuff.:rolleyes

That being said, I am more than happy to answer any question you may have over PM. I am even happy to give you a home # to call if any questions should need to be answered in real time.:D

Located in Upstate NY in a gear babying non smoking home.:thumb

Is the battery grip BG-E2? Are you selling that separately?

it would be a BG-E2N, right? cus im pretty sure the E2N is the only grip that works on a 40D

I heard the only difference is BG-E2N have a foam/rubber seal on the battery door compartment for weather proofing, other than that, it's the same, people have reported 40D + BG-E2 with no problem. They said Canon is pushing the new BG-E2N for 40D because of higher price tag, but Im not 100% sure.

    Thanks Beau and Andy:D

Grip is BGE2. I dont see an N anywhere on the grip. I consider selling it separately after the camera sold.

    Jeff,

Do you have any photos of the 100-400 IS? I've been contemplating getting this lens for my husband to use on my backup camera (the 30D) since he's really itching to do some wildlife shooting, and it seems like a really good lens for that. Thanks.

I've seen and used the lens on a couple of photo trips with Jeff. The 100-400 IS is a sweet piece of glass I'd buy from him myself if I had the cash right now.

    Buy with confidence.

Ah, oh well. I wouldn't have been able to afford the 100-400 IS until after my next paying wedding (got a non paying one this Saturday), which isn't until July 26th. I'll post a WTB thread I guess after that :)
