Deep in the Mangrove thickets...

It's amazing what you can find lurking deep in the Mangrove thickets. What's even more amazing is the expression on the "critters" face when they look up and see an idiot photographer with a long lens pointed directly at them.

    No, I was on foot. These shots were taken in the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, Florida. However, this is an excellent place to kayak. I'm not the greatest kayaker, so needless to say I don't take a camera when I'm out paddling.ne_nau.gif
