You guys visit some places... I can see Alaska, Hawaii, Egypt and Pakistan in your thread names. (I will visit those threads when I'm finished typing this one.) We went to a little more humble place today. IJmuiden is a fisherman's village near Amsterdam where we live. We went there to eat fish and to get some fresh air. Here are my photos.

1 Corus. The big steel factory. Reminds me I have to get back there some night with a tripod.

2 A lighthouse.

3 Some pallets.

4 Blue roofs.

5 North Pole. That is an actual streetname. It can be pretty cold there in winter.

lol3.gif I know what you mean about being intimidated by the locations in this forum. But you're showing that there is beauty everywhere you look, even if you don't travel halfway around the world. thumb.gif

I love the simplicity and abstract patterns in the things you see. I'd also think the steel factory would be so lovely at night!

I think I can smell the fresh air too, just looking at the lighthouse photo. :D

I really like the lighthouse photo. The factory looks like it would be cool at night. Some nice patterns in the others.

Really, it's not about where you go, it's what you see.
