Windows Photo Gallery Tags

Hi,

Windows Photo Gallery supports hierarchical tags. Here's a picture:


You enter tags like Activities/Ironman and People/Joe and then they get displayed in virtual folders. Anyway, the problem is that when I upload photos with these tags, the slashes get deleted from the resulting keywords. Activities/Ironman becomes activitiesironman. How do I prevent this? Better yet, is there anything I can do to enable SmugMug support for hierarchical tags like this?

Welcome to Dgrin!

Thank you for taking the time to let us know on how important such a feature would be to you. Currently, we don't support hierarchical tags and there's not much you would do about it except to manually separate the keyword tags to make them show up as individual keywords.

Is there any API that I can call to programmatically change the tags to correct the problem?
