Tough Rumblin' Trevor
Only been lurking here lately, and have been shooting even less... Here's one reason why:
Natural light, flash for the catchlights. 20D, 50 mm f/1.4 lens @ f/4.0.
I know, I know... it can't compare with beautiful ladies in exotic locations (awesome, Nik!), but it's what I've got to work with right now! :wink
Cheers! C&C always welcome.

One of my first shots processed with CS3. I'll see if I can pop it a bit more.
I think the only problem with the shot is that the white balance is off. The whole shot has a blue tinge to it. That is making his skin seem very white-ish/blue which isn't so great.
Love the composition and everything else about the image though.
Hope you don't mind but he is toooo adorable to not play with and those overalls are so cute.
I set a white point in levels, increased sat and contrast just a bit, set up his eyes some and gave him a little sharpen.
Nice shot!
LadyTX, I liked your conversion too. Kids are the best creatures to shot with.
