I am nowhere near a professional photographer. But want to be more than anything in the world!! Photography is my passion. I am a full time mother and wife, with a special needs child whom I have to be home with. Soooo.....What I'm wanting to know from all of you professionals out there, I'm wanting to take an at home photography course. Am thinking about using NYIP....are they credible? And has anyone else used them or any other at home photography course? If anyone can help, please by all means, I will take any advise I can get on this!

Thanks so much!

Thank You! That's pretty much what I am trying to do also. I have posted some pics in the People Forum. But, I am so new to this, that all the technicalities, and "terms" for say, digital editing, and stuff....which I have PSE 5, it's all too new to me for me to comprehend everything....Laughing.gif

Credible....Yes.....I started a course back in.....weeellll....just about......it will suffice it to say I was much younger, married with children, job I almost hated....and life got in my way.....so I am about to bgin again....just got a coupon to cut off a tad over $300 off if I pay in full cash.....
I found the course to be enjoyable and well explained and back in the day, you got an umbrella, a wig head(styrofoam one) exposure calculater and a bunch of other tools to teach you from the ground up....the tapes were easy to understand (the speaker had very little accent.....I was afraid he'/she would be from Yonkers:D).......to get anything out of you will have to apply yourself not just go thru the motions....but really stretch your lmits and imagination.

I think it's great that you are taking time to begin again! That is a wonderful thing. And I wish you the best of luck! I think I am very seriously going to take the course as well. It will not hurt!

    Welcome to dGrin wave.gif

Research is a big part of a successful education. Please use our "search" feature, typing in NYIP, and see what you come up with! thumb.gif

    Good luck.
