WTB: Nikon or Sigma 50mm 1.4 AF

Looking to pick up a fixed lens for my D2xS B&H has Nikon listed at 289.00 and Sigma at 499.00 anyone have experience with either? Thanks.

    at fredmiranda you have quite a few threads about the sigma, and it seems to get quite good reviews from the early adopters.

    i own the nikkor 1.4 and must say it is one of the best primes i've ever used. Very sharp, produces realistic colors and tones, good build for such a tiny lens.
