Thanks! Colors are a bit weird, but may be it's the scanning process, or who knows, I still didn't recieve my hard copy (I got these images courtesy of the organizers).

Great stuff, and congratulations. So . . . how do your shots compare to those from the "lug & shoot" on page 41 (#2)?

    Congratulations, Nik! Nice...

I thought that the Moorpark Rotary Organized this event as their annual fundraiser, but this is the organization that provides the Reinactment?

That particular "lug & shoot" is actually a dslr in a wooden box rolleyes1.gif . However there was also a guy who did real authentic wet plate (collodian) work, with authentic XIX century equipment, the whole nine yards. His name is Will Dunniway, I believe he's kinda famous :-)

Yes, you're correct, it's Moorpark Rotary's fundraiser. However, there are also people from Fort Tejon, Richmond Howitzers and probably many other non-pofits who are involved in the different aspects of the event. I don't really know al the links in all the chains of command, but I'm lucky enough to know a few key people who seem to run the event, so it worked ok so far... rolleyes1.gif

Yeah, I think so. Well, you know me, I'd prefer a centerfold in some other magazine mwink.gif, but this is a start... rolleyes1.gif

I'm still not sure if I got all the dust off. I may need to use dust cover next time around.
