Milkweed Celebration

I posted this in the macro forum, but IMHO I think it also qualifies as a "cool shot."

Thanks, guys and gals. Well, it only looks like it's exploding. Actually, the seeds were simply hanging out. I held one flash behind and below the bod. The other flash was conneced to the front of my lense. Here're the details:
This was captured with a Nikon D300 w/105mm VR, two off camera flashes (one behind and under the bod, the other off to the left front, connected to the front of the lens), f38, 1/60 sec, ISO 400, and handheld.

First impressions......
Someone popped the cork from a bottle of champagne
It's quite explosive looking.... a sea of fibre optics.
Great shot Jeff

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
How did you think to do this? Were you just sitting around and thought...think I'll make these milkweeds look like they are exploding?
