Went out to the Orange County stomping-ground yesterday to photograph some shorebirds
and bumped into fellow DGRINNER Glenn (raptorcaptor) and had a great time photographing the
local waders doing their thing:

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Awesome captures, Russ. thumb.gif Love the low perspective. I'm guessing you were either lying on the shore or actually in the water with them.

    Cheers,

Thanks again Joel, I won't want to wade in the water with these guys though :D
I was lying on a mat with the tripod flat to the ground.
This kinda puts me at eye level with the subject and helps to blur the foreground and background.
Hard on the back sometimes though, especially if I lie in that position for a long time.
See you in the Landscape forum mwink.gif

Indeed, this area usually has some of the sweetest evening light and background colors you'll find around here. Thanks Ron
