Suddenly uploading is REALLY slow

Since yesterday it seems to be taking forever to upload even single photos to my gallery. Nothing has changed at my end. I'm using the basic drag and drop from my iMac and have not had this problem before. Is anyone else finding the upload function very very slow suddenly?

    Patti,

I have uploaded several files today. They have all been very quick. When this happens it is often connection related. It may not be at your house, but somewhere between your computer and our servers.

Try running a speed test to see how fast things are running. Go here:
    http://smugmug.speedtest.net

We are the Yellow San Jose star. Please choose that server and begin the test. Let us know what the results are.

Also run a traceroute from your computer to our servers. That can help us see where the problem is at.

Try these instructions to run a traceroute on a PC:

Send us the results and we can take a look.

I can't do the traceroute thing - I'm on a Mac, not PC.
