    Beautiful shot! I love the movement in the clouds, and the thin red line studded with lights 2/3 of the way down the image. I think the composition may be improved by cropping out most of the dark area below the red line. What do you think?
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    I think so as well, but wanted to preserve a regular format, I'll try the new crop.

    Very nice! I like everything about this shot: rich blue in the sky, the twinkle of the moon, the observatory serving as an anchor, and the colorful city lights! thumb.gif
