Simple gizmo attached to your OVF and gives you the nice flip LCD, so you can do waist-level shooting (candids, low-angle shots, etc).
Kinda gives you the best of both worlds - razor-sharp true OVF for the normal shooting, and the convenience of the LCD when you need it..

Price doesnt seem that bad tiehr, especially if they dont perfectly do the conversion ratio. Otherwise its gonna be like 250 dollars.

Thats a pretty good idea actually... I cant tell you how many times someone has picked up my camera to take a picture and stared at the LCD screen expecting to see something

Then I tell them you have to look through the viewfinder to see the shot, and they look at me like it is prehistoric...

Question: can you view from the distance (like that LCD) or you need to "press" your eye into it? I mean - can it be used for candid/waist level shooting? I didn't get that from the description..

Yes, that's why I bought it as well, Fred. After Yosemite, I realized that kneeling down in puddles wasn't my strong suit. I found myself having trouble lining up shots when the tripod was set close to the ground.
