I was so looking forward to participating in a Mega Challenge and then I go and get the flu around three weeks ago. I've been up and around, sort of, for the last week or so but have no stamina and an annoying cough. So no real energy to go out and do my normal photog thing.

I had an idea that I explored to some degree, "Destruction" or "Decay" as well as a couple of other images that could work. I'm not really happy with any of them, but maybe one is worth submitting. Thoughts?

1) Destruction

2) Decay

4) Catnap

5) Intense

Wow... very nice images - you have a real talent!

Hard to choose, but for the contest, I think I like best #2 and #5

Sorry to hear you haven't been well, hope you feel a lot better soon and can get back to enjoying shooting.

    Of those you posted:

#4 "catnap" caused me to pause and look at it for a while. I like the dof and having been in that situation (usually in airports) I can appreciate the story.

#5 "intense" caused me to inhale, breathe out slowly and go 'Wow'. I love this image, I like the dof and the expression you captured is wonderful, definitely INTENSE. Great stuff. bowdown.gif

Lots of good choices! I like #3 and #4 best. #2 pulls the eye through the picture.

#1 is a bit too jumbled. In #5, one paw is cut off and one is missing. It is still a good shot, but I know it bothers some people. In #6, I think the man coming through the doorway detracts from the diner.

Glad you are back among the living.

The only one that I don't like is #1. They each have their merits. I think #2 illustrates its title very well. and #5 is definitely intense.

    Stay well,
