I do not know for sure, but I expect it to be same (or a tiny bit less) as the current Mk I retail price.
Since I just got mine for Christmas I called B&H to see if I could preorder the new one and I'd just send mine back since it's still under the 30 day return. B&H told me they knew nothing about the new lens

Well, it's unlikely to be LESS expensive than the previous lens (that only happens with electronics, not optics). I'd expect at least a few hundred dollar bump in MSRP from the $1999 of the current one (vs $2399 for Nikon's).

Just checked the stores in Tokyo, seems no change of price. All common lenses including Ls are still on the shelf. Friends here do not have any update.
The good dealers in Europe list the lens at 2200 EUR. This is of course the introductiory price which is going to fall in a couple of weeks/months.

Other than the addition of the EF 70-200mm, f2.8L IS USM II, is anyone seeing any other lenses added or deleted?
The teleconverters are both missing from the "Super-Telephoto" page, but they still show up in a search of the site and they haven't changed that I can see.
I see the addition of the MSRP to the lens thumbnail descriptions, so maybe all of the recent disappearances and re-appearances are just to add the MSRP information?

The EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro (the old non-IS, non-L version) is gone.
The EF 300mm f/4L IS USM is gone.

I had thought so too but for some odd reason it is positioned with the "Telephoto" and not the "Super-Telephoto" lenses.
