The hunters meeting place
Thought I would share these images captured yesterday of a Kestrel out on the hunt.
We first came across each other with the Kestrel resting on a post overlooking a field. I carefully stalked the bird but was thwarted by a group of ramblers coming in the opposite direction which spooked him.

He flew off into a nearby tree and waited until the coast was clear.

After the ramblers moved on, he took off again and resumed his hunt,

Thank you deb. This was one day that I managed to get lucky:D. When I pointed out the Kestrel in the tree to the ramblers they just said 'oh'. I wonder what the purpose of rambling is if it is not to take in what is around them

Thank you. Seems the last one is a favourite (It's also my favourite too).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
