Edgy in the Mines

I'm not even sure what edgy really means. But Bella wanted to try to get some "edgy" shots, so we gave it a try. We had late afternoon sun, and only an hour or so to shoot because the hike out would be treacherous in the dark. When I got home my wife called the shots edgy without any prompting, so that's good enough for me. :D

She definitrly has that Lisbeth Salander thing going! :whip
I love 3, 6 & 7 the most but all are nice (except maybe#4). But then again, never say never!

Thanks, Brian! I had to google Lisbeth Salander, and you're right. She's definitely got that look and bad-girl attitude. nod.gif Interesting young lady. I hope to shoot with her again.

As a 'non person shooter' all I can add is WOW, Lisbeth Salander fits very well (if you haven't read all three of the books then shame on you)

Like them all but 3, 7 and 9 are 'out there'

Very cool juxtaposition of the model and environment. 6 & 9 are my favorites of the group.

    I like Number 9.

Some of the wider shots almost have an end of the world rock chic feel to them :D

#9 is the most powerful to me. They're all great, but #9 is the one that you need to blow up for your office.

Did I read that ya'll *hiked* up there.... she hiked in those clothes??? Please tell me she changed.

It takes a very secure woman to wear those pants in public *and* want pictures to prove it.

uh. love all of them except for the "that's better"shot and the middle one in the second set.

What lenses were used, if I may ask? All natural light or flash was used? (I know, a flash was used for the window shots)

Thank you, LK! Maybe I should try a print of that one.

She did change after the hike. It was a short hike, but steep and treacherous, and even more so because she was wearing flip-flops. Ugh. The location was actually fairly private as it's hundreds of yards from any houses or the road. Still, she was a real trooper, that's for sure.

Thanks, Arseny. Lenses used were the Canon 70-200 F2.8 MKII, and Canon EF-S 10-22. All natural light except for the window shots. Thanks for your thoughts!

2 7 8 for me. I don't like 9, it could have been good, but a few problems with it.

That girl has some major charisma, a natural, love the wardrobe and attitude.

Great setting, nice series. Lots of cool shots.

Photo 9 is great, though some of me feels it would have been better if her eyes were open, engaging the viewer.

Still a fun set overall. :-)
