Tell me...

Does this tell a story?

Does it fit the frame rule?

Thanks.

I think it is a great idea, but some of the shots are lacking a bit. #3 and #9 are the same. Not too crazy about the crops in some of them, namely #4, #5 and #7. Work on that a bit and you've got a beautiful thing going!

I don't get the story, but then I'm having a thick day.

To be honest, Greg, I don't like the crops on most of them...those are some unattractive baby parts! I like the idea, just find the cuter parts of the baby.

Scrapping this one. Thanks. But, keep in mind, at nine hours old, there's no such thing as a cute baby, except your own.

That is so very true! But I still think that is a cute one. I like some of the shots better than others though.

    Oh-hooo - finally! :)

The idea is fantastic, and even if they are not "hollywood" cute this is real and it's how it is - I personally love it!

Maybe some instances can be more story telling, but I'm not sure what exactly they would be... well, if they are not
"cute" maybe the instances can tell a story scientifically point of view - I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense,
but I can try again tomorrow morning.

    Great! clap.gif

It's very sweet. But I find the second image a distraction because I've no idea what it is you photographed for that one.

If I am seeing it right, that's a little baby knee.

I like the unconventional crops. I really do.
As was suggested, maybe swap out one of the two near to identical foot shots and the center one looks a little funny.
But I vote for the crops you have and the bits you've shown.

I am completely enamored with these--don't you dare scrap it.

OK. I'll keep working it. So happens, I'm expecting another delivery tonight. So there might be another willing model to shoot tomorrow!

Yes, that's the one that I saw first and that bothers me the most...looked at first glance like an amputated limb

15524779-Ti.gif - Maybe more partial face shots - draw the viewer in with the eyes - even if they are shut :) Love the idea!

LOVE the idea... but maybe different baby parts? Toes, definitely (my FAVE part of a baby...) ears/profile, fingers, mouth/chin...the very top of the head and the knee don't work for me...the processing is great, though...maybe if its a boy, do in monotone blue?
