Meet Billy, he's 32 years old! I had the pleasure of taking a few snaps of him the other day. This one was my favorites.

Nice shot, I like the lighting on his face and the good eye detail. Poor old Billy looks a bit sad or should I say long in the face.

    Pete...

30+ is very old for a horse. This guy looks to be in great shape for his age. Perhaps reflecting on a life well lived when you took this shot?

I love the crisp detail with every hair showing and his eye staring into the distance, perhaps the future reflected there? Or his past?

Lovely. (a horse lover here, can you tell?)

I actually rode and competed in 3rd Level Dressage on a 30+ yo Stallion and we won Region 8 champions when he was 32...
(I was 14, haha) I do think that Genetics has a lot to do with it, (as with humans) but he was a feisty one til the end. RIP Jigsaw <3 He was a ranch raised Mustang, and got his name from a scar on his neck in the shape of a puzzle piece from the rope knot they put around his neck to catch him :-/

This picture is WONDERFUL, and it's a great idea to make her a print, I wish I had one of Jigsaw. (I can almost feel the velvety edge of his nostril <3)
