Embarrassing Shot of the Pooch

Hey, it was raining today. While I admit that Cookie (aka "The Cook") is spoiled ... normally I don't dress her up. She's a Wheaten Terrier and her fur is more like human hair than dog fur. As such, she soaks up water like a sponge. So the boots and sweater is an attempt at keeping her reasonably ... somewhat dry. Fortunately, none of her friends saw her (she isn't too happy about me taking the pix ... if she sees it on the internet ... she' kill me).

    We dress Ty in fleece booties and a winter coat to keep her warm during the winter. It's John Deere fabric my Mom had left over. She hates it .. says it's not girlie enough rolleyes1.gif

    Now she wants some duds like Cook.

    lol ... Echo's back at the mud pies again. I purchased them at Petsmart. I went through many types. I found the hard pre-formed type to easily fall off. The Cook sports the soft neoprene with Velcro fasteners. These work for her as she can run and jump in them ... she's dangerous on concrete with tight turns as her rear goes straight while her front corners. (Quite amusing actually.) Whatever you get makes sure they are as tight as possible. If you get any ... good luck and keep me posted with Echo's progress.

    Oh the poor sweetie ... how did you ever get the mud out of Echo's toes. I made Ty's booties and wrap them with this stuff. Only I buy it at Fleet Farm. Velcro and Golden's hair don't work well together.

    Tried the neoprene ones on her, but she couldn't walk. Wish they had worked. Measuring a dogs feet isn't an easy task.

    The look on Echo's face is priceless. I'm betting as soon as they were cleaned off they were dirty again :D
