We had a Smug Meet in our area that focused on studio lighting and I wanted to share a few of the portraits I shot.

Shot these with the D7000 since my D700 is at Nikon having the sensor cleaned....

They are all quite nice but #1 is brilliant, that is one seriously awesome portrait. I just love it.

I love pretty much everything about #1. Not a fan of the earring(?) but that's just a small nit.

    Hey Rey,

#1 is fantastic! That's the level I'm always striving for.

    One question Rey....

If there was a Smug Meet in SoCal, why wasn't I invited? :cry

I'm actually all the way up in the SF Valley but depending on what the meetup is for, I'm willing to trek down there.

She often says the funniest things. I used to have a lot of "Jen-isms" documented on my old PC but I lost the document when it crashed.

Like everyone else....#1 is outstanding. The rest pale in comparison. Enter #1 somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!! The pp is so like the depression era photographs of Dorothea Lange.

    Charles thanks
I am looking at a few different prospects right now...
I got a sense of that as I was working in LR with my newly calibrated display. There's a rich sepia tone that has a vintage feel that I find really appealing.

If you have more space around the file try a little off center cropping to move the image more to the right just a tad. Might give it even more impact.
