Technique to create a sunburst effect?

I am hoping that someone is able to help me. A little while ago I saw a technique for getting a sunburst effect by placing the sun on the edge of a building, tree or similar.
The effect was created with certain camera settings and I can't for the life of me find it again.
I am firstly hoping that there will be someone who understands what I am talking about
, and secondly may be able to explain the technique. I am looking for the effect where the sun will have identifiable "lines" radiating from it, not the general flare effect of shooting into the sun.

there are many post on this but try starburst

high fstop# will give you that effect
