First portrait session for kids

Last week I had a photo session for my co-worker's kids. This is my first real sessions for children. It was so hard to keep them sit still for me to photograph. The boy was so hyper, and his little sister kept crying (for milk, I guess). But it was fun, lolz. Here is the shot that I really like. Suddenly he was so quite, before he decided to cover his face with his hands.
I'd like to hear your opinions about these shots, so C&C are much appreciated. Thanks.:thumb

I LOVE the second image . Working with kids was not like I imagined, once I got past that and changed my expectations things got much better !!! The one thing I have learned is to go with the flow, sometimes you only have about 2 % control over the situation, so shoot them as they are, it is real and it is a part of who they are.
One day I could not get my friend's daughter to smile or even look neutral, she persisted with a very sad expression... those turned out to be some of the best work I have done. And my friend had other mothers asking her how she got her child to pose like that!!!

I have a tough time viewing the images due to the focusing bokeh. My eye keeps bouncing trying to focus on the image in general. Looks as if you used a Lens Baby to shoot with.

@Hackbone: Is it a good thing or bad thing? because that's my pp work. headscratch.gif I used 24-70 f2.8 L lens for these fotos.

It's hard to view the image for me with the amt of bokeh.
