It Just Dropped Down
![Harryb](https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/uploads/customavatars/53/navatar_653.jpg)
Hi Y'all,
A while back I was grabbing some captures of a red shouldered hawk perched on a palm tree when the sucker just dropped down into the vegetation in front of me,
It had eyed a passing snake and no self respecting hawk is going to let that go.
This sequence was captured with the D3 and the 200-400 f/4 VR lens handheld. The ISO was 500 and the aperture was set at f7.1

Thanks Ben, I'm usually not a fan of butt shots but that's the only flight view the hawk was offering.

Thanks Y'all glad you enjoyed them. They were all processed in PS making use of NIk's photoefex tools. The two filters I use most often are the brillance/warmth and tonal contrast filters. Nik has a new upgrade being released next month. If you have the $ its worth checking out.
