Rookery Photos: The 1% (BIF & Little Blue Herons)

These were all taken at Bird City, the rookery in Avery Island's Jungle Gardens. In support of Harry's rookery thread, these were the surviving 1% after the other 99% (in my case) were deleted. It's still the best place I know around here to take bird photos, and too much fun. C&C welcome and appreciated: :D

Best, Pam

Thanks Dick! I'm thankful Harry told me to ditch the other 99% (in his case 90%). :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you, Harry! After taking all these bird photos I see why you say the Roseate Spoonbills are difficult to expose properly--at least the egrets and little blue herons are more or less all one color! Best, Pam

Very nice set of images Pam, and I think I will also go with #1 and #6 as well.
