Keywords Not Appearing [Although There]

Hi,

I signed up to SmugMug not too long ago and I am starting to make tracks at uploading some albums.

I use Picasa on the PC as my organiser for geotagging, tagging ets. The first few albums went fine. Location data appears and the keywords appear under photos and feed into the "Top Keywords" widget on the front page.

However, I logged into and uploaded two albums and none of the keywords are appearing for the photos with the exception of the first photo in the second album below, and in turn not feeding into the keyword rankings. The strange thing is though, if I click edit beside keywords under the photo, they all appear in the text box that appears.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? As I said, it worked flawlessly before.

They might be in the add keyword queue, sometimes it takes a while.

Indexing seems to be a little bit delayed, but after checking your keywords, I was able to come up with your photos from your Keywords page HERE - That is the same photo you sent us, but after finding it in the search

Same problems with keywords - don't seem.

I always tagg my photos with imatch before upload. Now, mass pics missing DSC-Number and keywords to hide. Pic No 106 is ok.

See gallery ...

Last upload from 12/06/16 is correct.

Keyword Limit
Hello there... not sure if this is the best place or if I should start a new thread but I have a question regarding keywords. I see that Smugmug only indexes 30 keywords for each image. My first question is, is it possible to increase this through customization? If not, how does Smugmug choose the 30 keywords?

Here is my problem, my plan is to setup a bunch of smart galleries i.e. Images By Color < Red, Blue, Orange and Images By Region < California | San Diego, Arizona | Page etc, etc. and have the smart galleries populated by a single gallery called All Images. I am keywording the images in LR4 and then publishing and typically end up with more than 30 keywords per image. I need to make sure that my smart gallery triggers are included in the keywords that get indexed, but they don't appear to be alphabetically listed under the image. Here is an example of what I am trying to setup http://www.whalenphotography.com/Photography .

In summary, I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to increase # of keywords indexed through customization?
2. If not, does Smugmug pull the first 30 words alphabetically, or is there some other formula used?

30 is the max, and there's no way via customizing to increase it. We pull the first 30.

Yes, I know it was increased from 15 to 30 - and you might have noticed my absence for a long while because 15 keywords is simply nowhere near enough. I frequently deal with multiple languages, which means every 'virtual' (conceptual) keyword might need two entries - that adds up very quickly!

With 30 keywords (key phrases, actually!) it's enough usable again that I've started to actually use the site again - but it's far from ideal. I want my photos to be found - including by people who do not use English to search with (but one language used in the country where I took my photos).
