Army Nurse holding the hand of an American Soldier. The lighting was really bad, and things were moving fast. I was lucky to catch the shot. It took a lot of post processing to save it.

    I might add that your Rephotography series is amazing. I bet that took a great deal of effort to put together. Even a handful of shots seems like a lot of work, you've got 54 of them!

    Welcome aboard Harvey.

    As Ryan said, your rephotography is an interesting approach and you do it well.

    You might like to post some in the Other Cool Shots forum, since this is Documentary stuff

    The posted shot is real strong. Did you try higher contrast and isolating the hands to increase impact?

    I can't tell army nurse and soldier, but nontheless powerful.

    there is a wider shot of the hands that shows a lot more of what was happining when I took the photo.
    I got the inspiration and idea to do the Rephotography from a Russan photographer who does absolutely incredible work with contemporary and World War ll photos. Take a look at his site.
