I'm all over this. Just called Canon to confirm.......they just want broken cameras. The gal ("Amber") told me it could be a film, or a digital. 7D's are $1,087 plus tax and shipping.

Now I just need to sell my pristine 50D with grip.
Let's face it; more gear than sense.

Still haven't sold my 50D yet, so can't make a move. But did tell a buddy about this deal as his wife has been limping along trying to shoot gymnastics with a 40D. They jumped on it, and 2 days later received a pristine 7D with 200 clicks. She loves it, her photos are now fantastic.....and I'm jealous as heck. In fact, I shot side-by-side with her at a meet last weekend and was laughing at how much faster the 7D is in burst mode, compared to my 50D.

Finally sold my 50D today, and jumped right on the phone to Canon. Ordered a 7D. They are now $1,102.67 including CA sales tax. Should be here Thurs. or Fri.

I used this program to purchase my T3i back in March. Didn't even have a gold refurbished sticker on it when I got it and magic lantern said 0 actuations....so guess I got lucky. Love this camera!
