On my OLD SM a number of my drop nav menu top levels are text only and only the drops actually link to a page.
How do I do that in NEW SM?

    Not live yet are you?

Click that link you left blank and see if it goes to a page saying "Page Cannot Be found"

I tried that and it self populates to ht tp://example.com

I left in the example link. The one that has http:// I deleted.

All the no click links now show a # at the end of them

See link in bottom left, adds a # sign to end when link is blank or showing the ... example... link.

Maybe it works differently on a vertical nav, because I tried what you did, even before posting, and it just does not work on my site.

How about adding a link like...adding the # to the end?
