Navbar Question

Is it possible to increase the space on the right and left of the navbar so that I can add more menu items? I don't want to mess up any of the mobile features. I've searched the threads and its seems like it might have been a common question but can't seem to find anything on this specific task.

Thanks Mike that's super helpful. Although it looks ok on most monitors there are a couple that overlap. Is there a way for it to be 100% or should I be happy with the percentage?

Personally I would put your logo (width:20%) on the left, then navigation (width:60%) and your social (width:20%) on the right. As it is right now it just looks off-balance. If it were me, I would not be happy with it as it is....but I'm picky (ask my wife). If you want the logo to be in the middle, then I would just change the percentages from 33%/27%/40% to 20%/20%/60%.

I used that Quirktools and it does show what I see when I look at my website on my iPad. I trying to layout the Logo/menu/social icons one one line at the top of the screen. Positioning them to look good on my 27" iMac does not seem to be a good choice.

What suggestions are there for sizing? There are many sizes of laptop screens, desktop monitors and iPad. Prior to today, I had (all centered) my logo and underneath it was my menu and then social media where under that.
