Air show season is here! :thumb

I took a ride up to Manassas VA for the air show at the Manassas Regional Airport. It's not a big show, but I got to see some old friends, it was nice weather, and after all, it was an air show...

They had this beautifully restored DC-3 on display, owned by the Historic Flight Foundation.

    Super shooting, John. The shots of the P-51 remind me that I've got to call my buddy and start the groveling process so he'll take me up in his P-51 for some more fun and games. I thrash him on the golf course but he extracts a strong measure of revenge when I come begging for another ride.

    Thanks, folks! Eric, I'm really loving the 5D3. And Tom - you have a friend with a P-51? That's way cool! I never had a chance to fly in my favorite P-51 before it went away.

    I'm not trying to steal your thread, John, but I thought I'd show you the P-51 I've been up in. I flew for years as a private pilot but going up in this P-51 is undoubtedly the most visceral experience I've ever had in a plane.
