    #1 rocks!
If it is sharp enough, I would try to see how tighter crops for flower+bee looks!
    Cheers!

The tighter crop on #1 really works. It's amazing that I didn't even notice the yellow "thingy" (pollen?) on the bee's side until the tighter crop. Both #1 and #2 are great in their own right.

Tight crop is totally fab! Distracting elements from background are gone, and nothing is lost in terms of sharpness and best aspects of the image are brought closer to us!
    LOVE IT!

    Lovely colours.

The bee has a pollen load in its pollen basket. The pollen is yellow, sealed with shiny propolis, the sticky exudate from "sticky buds", for which the maple scales leaves look strong candidates. "Propolis" means "in front of the city". The bees use it to make a kind of door mat at the hive entrance, where it forms an antiseptic barrier. It is also used to line comb cells and to fill small gaps in the comb. They may also use it to coat the body of a dead intruder, such as a mouse.

Very good. Might be worth reducing contrast a bit on the cropped image.
