    Cheers :). Yeah the Larva are bigger than the actual adult beetles.

    Great pictures although I find them a bit bright.

    Harold, these were photographed under "studio" conditions at Quinces Honey bee farm in South Molton - Devon :)

    Don't seem overly bright to me and I think exposure on the beetles themselves is good. Possibly just the differences between our respective screens ;)

    I have to (until later today) use my son's PC, which is set rather bright, so I try to allow for that. The larva is the best exposure.
